When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw? TV channel, start time, next round details | Football | Sport

The draw for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup will take place later this week once all of the fifth-round fixtures have been played. The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United will be hoping to avoid slipping up in their efforts to book their place in the last eight of this year’s competition.

Liverpool will be the favourites to progress against Championship high-flyers Southampton as they chase a second domestic trophy after winning the Carabao Cup on Sunday. Chelsea, who were beaten by the Reds at Wembley, will also face second-tier opposition in Leeds United while Manchester City host Luton Town.

Manchester United face a potential banana skin against Nottingham Forest, who will have high hopes of springing a surprise at the City Ground. Maidstone United’s bid for another upset saw them beaten 5-0 by Coventry City on Monday night, however, as the only non-league side left in the competition bowed out.
