Description
Northern Ireland Footgolf has gained another course with Newcastle in Downpatrick.
This course is situated in a public park (so strictly no alcohol allowed), but this makes for a Family-Friendly easily accessible Footgolf option that can be enjoyed over 9 or 18 holes seven days a week.
Footgolf is a blend of football and golf, challenge friends and family to an enjoyable competition to see who can get their ball in to the over-sized hole in as few strokes as possible. It’s fun and certain to raise the odd laugh whilst burning off some energy and getting some fresh air.
Footballs are available to hire, or you’re welcome to bring your own – Size 5 works best. This sport is gaining popularity daily, and is rapidly becoming a more mainstream sport and therefore more accessible. Newcastle Footgolf is therefore a welcome addition to the Irish Footgolf scene.
